All Hallows-by-the-Tower is an Anglican church on Byward Street in the City of London, directly beside the Tower of London. It claims origins in the 7th century and is commonly cited as the oldest church in the City of London.

The church contains a mixture of medieval and later fabric and is open for services and visitors, with funerary monuments and historic fittings of interest. Its position beside the Tower of London places it within one of central London’s busiest historic areas.

The site has an early foundation traditionally dated to the late 7th century; the building fabric visible today reflects medieval, post-medieval and modern repairs and restorations. The church suffered significant damage during bombing in the Second World War and was subsequently restored.

Situated on Byward Street beside the Tower of London and a short walk from the River Thames, the church lies within the City of London and is close to Tower Hill Underground station.
