How to Get to Alice Town
Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS): Most international visitors reach Bimini via a connection through Nassau or by ferry from Florida; domestic flights from NAS to Bimini are available with Western Air/Bahamasair on some schedules.
South Bimini Airport (BIM): South Bimini (BIM) is the island’s airport. From BIM you can take a short taxi or golf-cart transfer to Alice Town - typical ground travel time is under 10 minutes and fares are small (approx. USD 5-15 depending on luggage and exact drop-off). Ferries from Florida (seasonal) arrive at Bimini’s ferry terminal in Alice Town; ferry crossing times from the US are several hours depending on origin and operator and fares vary widely.
Train: There is no rail service in the Bahamas.
Bus / Local Shuttle: Bimini is small - local movement is mostly by foot, golf cart, taxi or small shuttle; there is no fixed-route public bus system. Transfers between the port, airport and town are short and inexpensive; many businesses will arrange pickups.
