How to Get to Albreda
Albreda is a small riverside village best reached overland from Banjul; Banjul International Airport is the usual arrival point. Travel onwards uses shared minibuses, taxis and local ferry crossings rather than rail.
Banjul International Airport (BJL): Albreda and nearby historic villages are reached via Banjul’s airport. From BJL you can take a taxi to Banjul or Serrekunda (about 150-300 GMD / US$3-6, 20-40 minutes) and then continue north by road and local ferry connections toward the North Bank; the full trip to Albreda involves road travel and a short local crossing depending on route.

Train: There is no passenger rail network in The Gambia.
