Parque del Alamillo is reachable by taxi or bus from central Seville (bus lines 6 and 37 provide access depending on the route). It’s a 20-30 minute cycle from the historic center across the Guadalquivir using the dedicated bike lanes and the Puente del Alamillo.

• Enter from the Puente del Alamillo side to avoid the busy ring road; the quieter east paths are best for birdwatching.
• Bring binoculars in spring for migrating waders and warblers that stop in the park's reedbeds.
• Cycle the park's main loop - rental bikes are often available near the Cartuja island area and make it easy to cover the long promenades.
