Al Quweira (Aqaba area) is quickest reached via King Hussein International Airport (AQJ) with a short taxi or transfer into the area. If arriving via Amman, use a domestic flight or long-distance coach to Aqaba then a local taxi for the final leg.
King Hussein International Airport (AQJ): The closest airport for southern Jordan and the Red Sea port of Aqaba; from AQJ to Al Quweira (near Aqaba coastline) travel times are typically 15-40 minutes by taxi depending on exact location - fares commonly JOD 5-12.
Queen Alia International Airport (AMM): If arriving via Amman (AMM), expect a 4-5 hour drive to the Aqaba area by car or bus; domestic flights and long-distance buses connect Amman to Aqaba if needed.
Train: Jordan has no active national passenger rail service suitable for travelers between Amman and Aqaba.
