Al-Fattah al-Aleem Mosque is a large modern mosque located in the Greater Cairo area. It was completed as part of recent development projects in the east Cairo/New Administrative Capital corridor and serves large congregations and national religious events.
The complex features contemporary construction and facilities designed to host sizable numbers of worshippers and official ceremonies. It is sited in the eastern Cairo governorate area and is part of the contemporary urban expansion outside central Cairo.

Al-Fattah al-Aleem Mosque is in the New Administrative Capital area east of central Cairo. By car it lies roughly 30-40 km east of downtown Cairo and about 20-30 km from Cairo International Airport; the most direct approach is along the Cairo-Suez (Cairo-Ismailia) Desert Road and the New Administrative Capital’s main boulevards - follow signs for the New Administrative Capital. Taxis or ride-hailing services from Cairo or the airport are the usual way to reach the complex; once there the mosque is on the main avenue with nearby parking and short walks between the complex’s entrances.
