Šiauliai International Airport (SQQ): Šiauliai is the closest airport to Akmenė and serves regional flights and charters. From SQQ a taxi or bus into Šiauliai city takes about 20-30 minutes, then a regional bus to Akmenė (total ~40-70 minutes). Taxi fares into Šiauliai are modest.
Palanga (PLQ) / Kaunas (KUN) / Vilnius (VNO): Palanga and Kaunas offer more scheduled flights; from either airport you reach Šiauliai or Akmenė by bus or train with total travel times of 1-2.5 hours depending on the route.
