The usual arrival point is Amritsar Junction (rail) - from there it’s a short taxi or auto‑rickshaw ride or roughly a 20-30 minute walk to the Golden Temple area in the old city. From Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport a taxi ride to the Golden Temple typically covers about 12-15 km.
