The building forms part of the high-density waterfront development of Dubai Marina, where many towers line artificial canals and promenades. It functions mainly as private residential accommodation with services and amenities typical of luxury high-rise apartment buildings.
Constructed during Dubai’s rapid high-rise expansion in the 2000s and early 2010s, the tower is one of several tall residential blocks that changed the skyline of the marina area. Ownership is primarily private and access to most internal areas is restricted to residents and their guests.
The tower stands in Dubai Marina, a reclaimed canal-side development on the coast of the Persian Gulf within the Emirate of Dubai, adjacent to Jumeirah Beach Residence and close to Sheikh Zayed Road.
