Pha Bong Hot Springs Hot Spring

Pha Bong Hot Springs are one of Mae Hong Son’s out-of-town attractions, lying about 11km south of town just off the main Mae Hong Son - Khun Yuam highway (Highway 108). The site, just beyond the village of Pha Bong, covers around three acres and is well organized, with free outdoor pools and private baths available for a small charge. Food and drink vendors set up outside.

The springs make a pleasant morning or afternoon stop rather than an all-day outing, so it is best to have something else planned for the rest of the day. On an all-encompassing loop trip from Chiang Mai, you might pause here on your way out of Mae Hong Son, or combine the visit with a look at Pha Bong village and a roundabout tour of the nearby side roads.
