How to Get to Żejtun
Żejtun is accessible from Malta International Airport (MLA) by Tallinja bus or taxi and is served by regular bus routes from Valletta and nearby towns. Public buses are the straightforward budget option; taxis provide direct door‑to‑door service.
Malta International Airport (MLA): Żejtun is around 15-25 minutes by car from the airport. From MLA take a Tallinja bus to Valletta (≈20-25 minutes, €2) and then a connecting bus to Żejtun (≈15-25 minutes, €2), or take a taxi directly (≈€15-€30, 15-25 minutes).
Train: Malta has no railway system.
Bus: Żejtun is served by Malta Public Transport buses from Valletta and the Marsa/Msida corridors; journey times depend on route and are generally 20-40 minutes from central Valletta with single cash fares of €2. Frequency is reasonable during the day but check schedules for early mornings or late evenings.
