Zaslawskaye reservoir

The Zaslawskaye Reservoir is a man-made reservoir in Minsk Region, Belarus, adjacent to the town of Zaslavl. It functions as a local water and recreation resource for the surrounding area.

The site is used mainly for informal recreation - shoreline bathing, angling, and picnicking are common. Small beaches and grassy banks provide space for day visitors rather than large-scale tourist infrastructure. Water-based activities tend to be seasonal, concentrated in the warmer months.

From central Minsk the reservoir is about 20-30 km northwest. Drive via the M3/E28 toward Zaslawye (Zaslavl) - the journey takes roughly 25-40 minutes by car depending on traffic. Regional buses and marshrutkas depart Minsk’s bus stations and stop in Zaslawye; from the town centre many beaches and marinas are a brief local taxi ride or a 10-25 minute walk along signposted paths.
