Zaamin National Park

A national park in Jizzakh Region of Uzbekistan featuring mountainous terrain, forested slopes and alpine meadows valued for hiking and nature recreation.

Trails through woodlands and up into alpine meadows, with informal camping and day-hiking opportunities; the park is used locally for summer recreation and nature observation. Vegetation includes montane shrubs and stands of native trees.

• Hire a local guide or ask at the sanatorium for route conditions before attempting longer hikes; weather and trail signage are variable and guided local knowledge will avoid closed or risky sections.
