Yoshino Mikumari Shrine Religious Site

Yoshino Mikumari Shrine is a Shinto shrine in Yoshino, Nara Prefecture, Japan, historically associated with the water-distributing deity Mikumari and recognised as part of the Kii Mountain Range pilgrimage landscape.

The site comprises traditional shrine structures set on the slopes of Mount Yoshino; visitors generally go to view the shrine buildings and the surrounding mountain scenery, especially during the cherry blossom season when the Yoshino area is at its busiest.
