About Yeronisos

Yeronisos is a small uninhabited islet off the west coast of Cyprus in Paphos District, near the coastal area around Peyia and Coral Bay. The islet contains archaeological remains dating to Hellenistic and Roman periods and has been the subject of archaeological investigation.

The visible remains include coastal fortifications and settlement traces that indicate the islet was used in antiquity for ritual or maritime purposes. Access is limited and the site is managed for archaeological research and conservation rather than general tourism.
