Yelagin Palace is a neoclassical palace located on Yelagin Island in northern St. Petersburg. It was created as an imperial residence in the early 19th century and is a surviving example of city park palaces from that era.
The complex includes the main palace building with restored interior rooms and a broad public park with paths, ponds and planted gardens. The site is used for guided visits, concerts and seasonal cultural events that make use of both palace interiors and outdoor spaces.
Commissioned as a leisure residence for imperial use, the palace was designed and erected during the early 1800s and has undergone restoration work after periods of neglect and wartime damage. Today it functions as a museum and public park within the city’s Neva delta.
