How to Get to Yekepa#
Yekepa (Nimba County) is reached primarily by road from regional hubs; Roberts International (ROB) is Liberia’s main international airport but overland transfers are long. Check for any available regional flights or company services before travelling.
Roberts International Airport (ROB): Monrovia’s Robertsfield is the main international airport used by travellers heading to Nimba County and towns such as Yekepa. Overland travel from Monrovia is very long (many hours) so most visitors arrive at nearer regional airfields where available or combine air with lengthy road transfers.
Regional airstrips: In the past there were company and small regional airstrips serving Yekepa (commercial availability varies); confirm current scheduled services before planning.
Train: Liberia has no regular passenger rail network connecting Monrovia to Yekepa; rail is not a travel option.
