Yangra, also known as Ganesh I, is the highest peak of the Ganesh Himal subrange in the central Himalaya, with an elevation of about 7,429 metres. It is a prominent high mountain in the border region between the Tibetan Plateau and Nepal.
The peak forms a compact massif with steep faces and is approached via long trekking routes that cross high passes and remote valleys; it attracts mountaineers seeking less-frequented 7,000+m objectives. The massif’s remoteness and altitude require serious acclimatization and logistical preparation.
