By car the site is roughly 30 miles (about 48 km) northwest of Louisville, KY and roughly 100 miles (≈160 km) south of Indianapolis; the most practical access is by private vehicle via I‑64 and then local state roads into Crawford County. There is onsite parking at the Wyandotte Cave visitor area and the cave entrance is a short walk from the parking lot.
