Wukesong Arena is a large indoor sports arena in Beijing built for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games. It was used for Olympic basketball in 2008 and was later modified to host ice hockey and other events for the 2022 Winter Olympics.
The venue seats roughly 18,000 people in typical configurations and forms part of a larger urban sports and entertainment complex in the Wukesong area. It has been used for major sports events, concerts and exhibitions since its opening in 2008.
Located inside Beijing Municipality, the arena is connected to the city’s public transport network and sits in the Wukesong district west of the city centre, within a zone redeveloped ahead of the 2008 Games.

How to Get to Wukesong Arena #
The arena is served by Beijing’s subway network. Use Line 1 to Wukesong Station or nearby Line 9/Line 10 connections and then walk (10-20 minutes) depending on which entrance and gates are in use for the event.

- Check event listings - Wukesong Arena (also known as Cadillac Arena in older signage) has varied programming from concerts to sporting events and the atmosphere changes accordingly.
- For large events use Line 1 and Line 9 of the Beijing Subway; the arena is near the Wukesong/AsiaGames Village area and several metro stations provide walking access.
