The Wooden Churches of Maramureș are a series of historic timber churches in northern Romania, representative of vernacular carpentry and Orthodox church design. The ensemble is noted for tall wooden bell towers and traditional log construction dating largely to the 17th and 18th centuries.

The churches are visited for their characteristic vertical silhouettes, shingled roofs and richly carved iconostases; many are active parish churches. Visitors typically view exterior timber joinery and interior wall paintings and icons that illustrate local religious art and artisanal skills.

Local communities built these wooden churches using horizontal log techniques and local timber species; they functioned as parish churches and community centers. Over centuries they have been restored periodically while retaining original structural systems and decorative programs.

The churches sit across Maramureș County in a rural, hilly landscape of northern Romania, reachable from the regional centres of Baia Mare and Sighetu Marmației.
