Wong Tai Sin is a residential and temple district in Kowloon best reached via Hong Kong's efficient MTR network; the nearest stop is Wong Tai Sin station on the Kwun Tong Line. Most visitors arrive at Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) and continue by Airport Express + MTR or by taxi.

By Air

Hong Kong International Airport (HKG): The fastest public option into Kowloon is the Airport Express. A single Adult Airport Express ticket to Kowloon Station or Hong Kong Station costs HK$115; journey times are roughly 21 minutes to Kowloon Station and about 24 minutes to Hong Kong Station. From either station you can transfer onto the MTR network to reach Wong Tai Sin (see Train below) - allow another 20-35 minutes for the transfer and final MTR leg.

Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) - taxi and coach: Taxis from the airport to Wong Tai Sin are convenient if you have luggage or travel late; expect roughly HK$250-HK$350 and a 30-45 minute trip depending on traffic (urban red taxis). Cross‑border/coaches from Shenzhen/Guangzhou also arrive at HKG and at boundary crossings - these are less direct for Wong Tai Sin than the Airport Express plus MTR.
