Westfalenpark is a major public urban park in Dortmund, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, created for the 1959 Bundesgartenschau and covering roughly 70 hectares. It is one of the city’s principal green spaces and a frequent venue for public events and horticultural displays.

The park’s most prominent landmark is the Florianturm, a 219.6 metre TV and observation tower that provides panoramic views. Landscaped areas include formal gardens, lawns and water features, plus event lawns and exhibition spaces used for concerts and fairs. Pathways and smaller garden zones connect a variety of planted displays and recreational areas across the site.

Westfalenpark was developed from the late 1950s onward around the Bundesgartenschau layout; the Florianturm and many of the park’s structural elements date from the 1959 works. The park has been adapted over time to host festivals, exhibitions and seasonal horticultural shows.
