Wembley Stadium is a large multi-purpose stadium in northwest London that opened in 2007 on the site of the original 1923 Wembley. It is England’s national stadium and one of Europe’s largest arenas.
With a seating capacity of approximately 90,000, the venue hosts major football matches including national team fixtures and cup finals, as well as concerts and special sporting events such as NFL games. The stadium’s distinctive 133-metre arch is a structural and visual landmark.
The modern stadium replaced the old twin-tower venue and incorporates hospitality suites, conference facilities and event spaces alongside the main spectator bowl. It is designed for high-capacity events and large-scale production.
Wembley sits in the London Borough of Brent, north-west of central London, with Wembley Park and Wembley Central transport links providing rapid access to the site.
