How to Get to Valtice
Valtice is in the Czech wine region near Břeclav and the Austrian border. Vienna (VIE) and Brno (BRQ) airports are the common gateways; rail to Břeclav followed by a short bus or taxi is the usual route.
Brno-Tuřany Airport (BRQ): Brno is the closest airport with scheduled services; from BRQ take a shuttle or taxi to Brno hlavní nádraží (about 20-30 minutes) and then regional trains or buses toward Břeclav and Valtice (total journey to Valtice typically around 1-1.5 hours).
Vienna International Airport (VIE): Vienna is a major international gateway with frequent rail connections to Břeclav and Brno. From Vienna Hauptbahnhof or Wien Flughafen take IC/rail services to Břeclav (about 40-60 minutes) and then a short bus or taxi to Valtice (around 15-20 minutes).
Train: The nearest major railhead is Břeclav station, served by international and domestic trains (Vienna-Brno-Prague corridor). From Břeclav take a local bus or taxi to Valtice.
