How to Get to Valdes Island #
There is no BC Ferries service to Valdes Island. Access is by private boat, water taxi or kayak from Vancouver Island (commonly from Nanaimo or Ladysmith) or from the Sunshine Coast. Plan crossings by tide and weather; there are no formal docks at many landing sites.
