The park sits in Orlando, Florida, adjacent to Universal Studios Florida and connected to it by park infrastructure, including the Hogwarts Express link for guests with park-to-park admission.

How to Get to Universal's Islands of Adventure #
Universal’s Islands of Adventure is inside the Universal Orlando Resort complex on Universal Boulevard near the Interstate 4 corridor in Orlando. By car follow I‑4 and take the Universal Blvd/Universal Orlando exits (follow signs for Universal Orlando/Universal Blvd); on‑site parking is available at Universal Orlando parking garages and shared with Universal Studios Florida, with pedestrian access into the parks. From downtown Orlando and the tourist corridor (International Drive) the park is a short drive or taxi/ride‑share ride; shuttles and hotel transfers are also commonly used by guests staying nearby.
Tips for Visiting Universal's Islands of Adventure #
- Arrive at Islands of Adventure at or before opening and head straight to the Wizarding World/Hogsmeade area - Harry Potter attractions are consistently the busiest early and late in the day.
- All Universal Orlando parks share entry through CityWalk's security checkpoint; factor extra time for security and parking at peak hours so you can be at the gates for rope drop.
- Don't skip Seuss Landing and the Port of Entry shops - these areas are much quieter than the headline attractions and make a pleasant low-wait respite during the midday rush.
