Aloha Airlines

Main image

Aloha Airlines was a U.S. Hawaii-based inter-island carrier, but it does not offer scheduled passenger service today-its passenger operations ceased in 2008. From a traveler’s perspective, you cannot book routine air travel with Aloha; instead, rely on currently operating inter-island carriers when planning trips within Hawaii.

Frequent Flyer Program

There is no active frequent-flyer program available for passenger travel with Aloha Airlines because the airline does not operate scheduled passenger flights. Any historical mileage programs are no longer relevant for current travel and there is no program to which to credit new flights.

Where Aloha Airlines Flies

Aloha Airlines no longer operates scheduled passenger routes; it formerly served inter-island routes based at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) in Honolulu. There are no current codeshare or alliance passenger connections to rely on under the Aloha passenger brand.

Aircraft and Cabin Classes

Aloha Airlines does not operate a passenger fleet and has no active passenger aircraft available for booking; any cargo operations using the Aloha name are separate from the former passenger airline. There is no current passenger cabin product to describe (no business, premium economy, or economy service under this brand for scheduled passenger travel).

Tips for Flying Aloha Airlines

  • Aloha Airlines does not operate scheduled passenger flights, so do not attempt to book routine travel under its name.
  • If you find an old reservation or a ticket listing with Aloha, contact the seller or your card issuer promptly to resolve refunds or rebooking.
  • For travel between Hawaiian islands, compare current carriers’ schedules and fares and book well ahead for holiday and peak-season travel.
