Aerosvit Airlines

Main image

Aerosvit was a Ukrainian scheduled carrier that operated from its main base at Boryspil (KBP) as a full-service airline serving domestic Ukraine and international destinations across Europe, the Middle East and neighboring regions. The airline ceased passenger operations in 2013 and no longer offers flights; it therefore should not be considered an option for current travel.

Where Aerosvit Flew

Aerosvit was based at Boryspil (KBP) and flew a mix of domestic Ukrainian services and international routes across Europe, the Middle East and former Soviet states, operating both short/medium-haul and some long-haul sectors using widebody equipment. Because the airline is no longer operating, its network and any historical codeshare links are no longer active and should not be relied on for current travel planning.

Aircraft and Cabin Classes

Aerosvit operated a mixed fleet for short-, medium- and long-haul routes, including narrowbodies (Airbus A320 family and Boeing 737 types), regional turboprops and jets (ATR 72 and Embraer 195), and widebodies for longer sectors (Boeing 767). Cabins were arranged according to route length: most short-haul aircraft were single-cabin economy with a small premium/business section on some services, while the widebody aircraft used on longer international sectors offered a two-class configuration (business and economy). Specific cabin product names, seat types and configurations varied by aircraft and are not provided here.

Aircraft types operated: Airbus A320 family, Boeing 737 Classic, Boeing 737 Next Generation, Boeing 767, Embraer 195, ATR 72

Tips for Flying Aerosvit Airlines

  • Aerosvit ceased passenger operations in 2013, so do not attempt to book flights with this carrier.
  • If you hold an unused Aerosvit ticket, contact the travel agency or your credit card company promptly to pursue a refund or chargeback, as the airline itself no longer operates.
  • If you were rebooked on a replacement carrier after Aerosvit’s collapse, keep all receipts and documentation for reimbursement claims and insurance purposes.
  • When researching historical schedules or aircraft for reference, rely on current operating carriers serving Ukraine rather than Aerosvit, which no longer flies.
