Ubajara National Park is a compact protected area in the state of Ceará, Brazil, noted for its karst landscape and a prominent show cave. The park protects Atlantic forest remnant and rocky canyons within a small mountainous area.

The cave is the principal visitor highlight, accessed from the park entrance by a short cable car and then by foot along an established path to caverns with speleothems. There are also short trails, lookouts over the surrounding canyons and remnants of native forest that attract day visitors and local ecotourism.

The park was created to protect the cave and surrounding forested canyon landscape and to provide controlled public access to geological and scenic features. Management focuses on visitor facilities, trail maintenance and preservation of the cave environment.

The park is accessed from the town of Ubajara in Ceará. The nearest regional transport hub is Sobral; from there local buses or hired transport lead to the park. Cable car services operate seasonally and schedules should be checked in advance.

• Take the cable car (where available) or guided trail down to the caves rather than attempting steep, unmarked routes.
• Visit the caverns early in the day to avoid heat and afternoon tour congestion.
