How to Get to Tunka Goltsy #
Tunka Goltsy are reached from the town of Kyren in Tunkinsky District, Buryatia. From Ulan-Ude (≈260 km), take the A333 road southwest toward the Tunka Valley; minibuses and regional buses run to Kyren (travel time ~4-6 hours). From Kyren, local 4x4 tracks and shepherd trails lead into the high basins - hire a local driver or guide for off-road sections and overnight pack-carrying.
