How to Get to Tunceli
Tunceli (Dersim) is primarily accessed by road. The nearest commercial airports are Elazığ (EZS) and Erzincan (ERC); from there you continue by intercity bus to Tunceli's bus terminal. There is no direct rail link into the city.
Elazığ Airport (EZS): Elazığ is a common air gateway for Tunceli; from EZS you can take a shuttle or local bus to Elazığ bus terminal and then an intercity bus to Tunceli (roughly 2-3 hours). Shuttle + bus door-to-door is commonly used.
Erzincan Airport (ERC): Another option is Erzincan; overland connections by bus to Tunceli take longer (generally 3-4 hours) but are available from the airport or Erzincan bus terminal.
Train: There are no regular passenger rail services directly to Tunceli; the nearest railheads are in Elazığ and Erzincan.
