How to Get to TT3

TT3 is located in the Theban necropolis on the west bank of the Nile near modern Luxor (New Valley Governorate references may be administrative). Access typically requires a guide or permission when inside protected areas; visitors normally travel from Luxor by car or organized tour to the West Bank tombs.

Tips for Visiting TT3

  • Carry shade and water-valley sites in the New Valley can be exposed and hot for much of the year.
  • Bring insect repellent during warmer months; oasis areas attract flies and mosquitoes.
  • Respect archaeological markers and do not attempt unauthorised excavations; many tombs are protected.
