Tsiranavor Church of Ashtarak

Tsiranavor Church of Ashtarak is a medieval Armenian church in the town of Ashtarak, Aragatsotn Province, and forms part of a closely grouped trio of historic churches above the Kasagh River gorge.

The site is visited as part of a compact circuit that includes two other nearby churches; the three churches are within a short walking distance of one another and are easy to see in a single visit. The churches are small stone buildings with characteristic Armenian domes and medieval masonry, set on the town’s gorge rim with clear views down the Kasagh River.
