Troglav is a mountain peak in the Dinaric Alps within the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and forms part of a larger mountainous massif in the region. It is known locally as a prominent highland summit used for mountain recreation.
The peak and surrounding massif are natural geographic features of the Dinaric Alps and have long been used seasonally for grazing and local transit between valleys; modern recreational use grew with organized hiking in the 20th century.
Troglav sits within western Bosnia and Herzegovina’s mountainous interior, in the Dinaric range of the Federation entity, accessible from regional towns and local trailheads.
