Nomadic Ambience
Solo traveler capturing high-resolution city and nature ambience for sleep and study
City WalksNature & OutdoorsAbout Nomadic Ambience
Nomadic Ambience is run by a solo traveler who has been posting ambient travel recordings since July 15, 2017. The channel has grown to about 1.34 million subscribers and roughly 184 million total views, with over 330 uploads and a steady pace of around two videos per month. Videos are long-form ambience walks and soundscapes shot in high resolution, often binaural or ASMR style, featuring cityscapes, rain, thunderstorms, ocean shores and quiet nature spots from places like New York, Chicago, Mexico City, Switzerland, Italy and Thailand.
If you want to stand in the middle of Times Square during a snowfall or fall asleep to a thunderstorm without leaving home, this channel is a perfect fit. The videos feel immersive and patient, emphasizing pristine binaural audio and high-resolution visuals rather than narration or tips. We especially recommend the viral Snowfall in Times Square video for a clear sense of the channel at its best. Uploads arrive at a steady clip of about twice a month, so there is always a new long stretch of ambient sound to play while working, studying or winding down.
