About Jacob Laukaitis

Jacob Laukaitis began posting travel films in February 2015 and spent eight and a half years traveling full time to more than 75 countries. His channel grew to about 715,000 subscribers and roughly 77.6 million views across 70 videos. Jacob uploads around one long episode per month and specializes in immersive, documentary-style vlogs, daily-life features and multiweek roadtrip or motorbike films. Recent titles range from country guides and cultural comparisons to practical packing and travel advice, with many episodes running from ten to fifty minutes.

If you want immersive country portraits, Jacob delivers in long, thoughtful episodes that feel like being shown around by a curious friend. We love how his videos go beyond sightseeing into daily life and social snapshots, from life in North Korea to slum visits in Mumbai and epic motorbike roadtrips in India. The channel is best for viewers who enjoy deep, cinematic travel vlogs and country guides - a standout is My life in North Korea vs South Korea, which drew tens of millions of views. He produced roughly one substantial video a month through early 2021.
