About Wander-Lush
Wander-Lush is the personal travel site of Australian writer and photographer Emily Lush, who has been based in Georgia since 2020. What began as a hobby evolved into a full-time travel publication; Emily has published hundreds of free guides on the site, including more than 250 specifically about Georgia and well over 600 posts indexed in our sitemap, with a steady output of a couple of new pieces each month. The site emphasises cultural travel - crafts, cuisine and local traditions - and offers practical itineraries, city guides (including a 370-page Tbilisi ebook) and richly illustrated first‑hand reports packed with the author’s own photography.
What makes Wander-Lush unmistakable is Emily’s deep curiosity for culture and her tendency to go long and go local. Reading the Georgian Tea guide feels like following a small, well-researched obsession: immersive historical detail, practical visiting advice and plenty of on-the-ground color, all in a voice that is personable and quietly expert. The site is best when you want thorough, culture-led trip planning for Georgia and nearby countries, or long reads about a single theme. Standout offerings include the large collection of Georgia guides and the Tbilisi city ebook, and the blog stays active with roughly two new guides each month.
