About I am Aileen

I am Aileen is the solo travel blog of Aileen Adalid from the Philippines. After leaving a corporate job in her early twenties she built a remote business and turned full-time traveller, publishing practical guides, visa walkthroughs, itineraries, and blogging resources. The site has been running since 2014 and now contains nearly 400 posts, with a steady flow of new articles every few weeks. In addition to written guides Aileen produces vlogs and offers Lightroom presets and blogging advice, and she draws on her own journeys to provide first-person, how-to content for long-term travellers and aspiring digital nomads.

Aileen writes like a pragmatic friend who has actually been there, and her pieces are built for getting things done. The tone is chatty and straightforward, with an emphasis on step-by-step utility - visa guides, island itineraries and actionable blogging or remote-work tips appear side by side. Recent titles show she mixes destination guides with practical how-tos, so the site is useful both for planning trips and for learning how to sustain travel. The blog is active enough that readers will find fresh, usable guides every few weeks, and the comment activity and vlogs add a human layer to the how-to content.
