Tranquerah Mosque

Tranquerah Mosque (Masjid Tranquerah) is an 18th-century mosque in the historic city of Malacca, Malaysia, and is one of the town’s older surviving Islamic places of worship. The building reflects the multicultural trading history of the port city.

The mosque presents traditional Malay mosque features combined with local decorative styles and a prayer hall arranged for congregational worship. It is compact and typically visited as part of Malacca’s riverfront and old town itinerary.
