Tradruk Temple is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery in the Yarlung Valley region of southern Tibet, traditionally dated to the 7th century.
The complex contains multiple chapels and historic images and is visited for its antiquity, religious art and its setting within the Yarlung River valley. It is one of a small number of monasteries in Tibet that are routinely highlighted for their early foundation.
According to traditional histories the temple was founded during the period of Tibetan imperial consolidation and has been rebuilt and repaired over many centuries following damage from wars and natural decay.
