Kraków’s Town Hall Tower on the Main Market Square is a Gothic remnant of the old municipal complex; visitors climb for city views and examine medieval masonry and the adjacent Cloth Hall.
Town Hall Tower in Kraków is a surviving Gothic tower on the eastern side of the Main Market Square (Rynek Główny). The tower dates to the 14th century and is one of the square’s most prominent medieval structures.
The tower is roughly 70 metres tall and offers a viewing platform with panoramic views across the Main Market Square and the Old Town. Interiors contain museum displays about the town hall complex and historic urban life in Kraków.
The tower was part of the old Kraków Town Hall complex; the rest of the town hall was demolished in the early 19th century leaving the tower as the main remnant. Over centuries it has been renovated and adapted for museum use.
Located on the Main Market Square in Kraków’s Old Town, the tower sits at the heart of the city and is a short walk from Wawel Castle and other central sights.

The Town Hall Tower is in Kraków’s Main Market Square (Rynek Główny). The Old Town is pedestrianised and easily reached on foot from Kraków Główny train station (about a 10-15 minute walk) or by tram to the main stops bordering the square.

- Enter through the Cloth Hall (Sukiennice) side for the most direct access to the tower's ticket desk.
