The Temple of Friendship is a small classical garden pavilion in Sanssouci Park, Potsdam, erected in the 18th century as part of the royal landscape.
It is a neoclassical pavilion set among terraces, statues and gardens that form the larger Sanssouci ensemble, and it is visited as part of the park’s walkable collection of garden buildings.
Commissioned during the reign of Frederick the Great, the pavilion served as a commemorative and decorative garden feature and has been preserved within the park layout.
The structure is located in Sanssouci Park in Potsdam, southwest of Berlin and within the broader palaces-and-parks landscape.
