Orangery Palace Park

The Orangery Palace is a 19th-century palace-style orangery in the Potsdam area of Brandenburg, built as part of the Prussian royal park and garden complexes.

Visitors encounter a long, palatial building with arcades and formally arranged terraces, historically intended to house and protect citrus and other tender plants during winter. The structure is usually visited together with the surrounding royal gardens and other Potsdam palaces.

From Potsdam Hauptbahnhof you can reach Sanssouci Park by local bus or tram (a short 10-20 minute ride) or walk roughly 2.5-3.5 km through the town into the park (about 30-45 minutes depending on route). From central Berlin the drive to Potsdam is about 30-40 km southwest via the A115 (roughly 30-60 minutes depending on traffic), after which local signage leads to the park and palace.
