Temple in Jerusalem

The Temple Mount / Haram al‑Sharif is in Jerusalem’s Old City. A common approach is to take the Jerusalem Light Rail to a central stop on Jaffa Road (City Hall/Davidka Square area) or use local buses to the Old City, then walk to one of the Old City gates (Jaffa Gate, Lions’ Gate, Damascus Gate) - the walk from the light rail or central bus stops into the Old City takes around 15-20 minutes. The Western Wall plaza is immediately adjacent to the southern side of the Temple Mount, making it an obvious pedestrian approach.

Note that access and opening times for the Temple Mount are controlled and can vary by day and security conditions; plan to arrive on foot from the Old City entrances rather than by private vehicle into the compound.
