Tell Sabi Abyad is a large prehistoric tell in Raqqa Governorate, Syria, recognized for a long sequence of Neolithic and later prehistoric occupation important to studies of early farming and settlement.
Excavations have exposed multiple occupation layers, architectural remains and material culture spanning Pre-Pottery Neolithic through Pottery Neolithic and later phases, making the site valuable for regional chronological and cultural studies.
