How to Get to Tarim, Yemen#
Tarim is a historic town in Hadhramaut typically reached by road from Seiyun (Sayun) Airport or other regional airports. There is no rail access; shared taxis or private transfers are the practical arrival options.
Sayun/Seiyun Airport (GXF): For Tarim the nearest airport is Seiyun (Sayun) in Hadhramaut province. From Seiyun airport the road transfer to Tarim takes around 30-60 minutes by taxi or private car; availability depends on local flight schedules and security conditions.
Aden / Mukalla regional airports: Other regional airports (Mukalla, Aden) are farther away and require longer road transfers; use these only if Seiyun flights are unavailable and check current travel guidance.
Train: Yemen has no operational national passenger rail network for these routes, so rail travel is not an option to Tarim.
Bus / Shared taxi: Road transport is the usual mode: shared taxis and intercity buses run between Hadhramaut towns (Mukalla, Seiyun) and Tarim. Travel times are short from nearby towns but schedules and safety depend on local conditions; confirm arrangements locally.
