Tanera Beag is a small island in the Summer Isles group off the northwest coast of Scotland, in the waters of Loch Broom and the North Atlantic. The name means “little Tanera” in Scottish Gaelic and it lies adjacent to the larger island Tanera Mf2r.
The island is uninhabited and forms part of the mixed rocky and heath landscapes typical of the Summer Isles, with sheltered channels and small anchorage points used historically for fishing and crofting. It is visited from the mainland for day trips and by boat operators working from nearby coastal towns.
