Takamatsu Airport

The airport uses a single terminal building that handles arrivals and departures in one compact facility. Domestic carriers operate from the same terminal area; there are basic check-in counters, security, a few gates and a small airside retail and refreshment area. Facilities are geared to short-haul regional operations and sightseeing groups rather than long-haul transfers.

Takamatsu Airport is primarily accessed by road - scheduled airport buses connect the terminal with Takamatsu Station and major city points; journey times to central Takamatsu are typically around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.

• Airport bus / coach: Regular buses run between the airport and Takamatsu Station; they are the main public link to the rail network and city center. Fares are modest; check local timetables for seasonal changes.
• Taxis and ride-share: Taxis are available outside arrivals for direct trips to Takamatsu and nearby towns; drive times are usually under 40 minutes. Ride-hailing apps may operate but service can be limited on the island.
• Driving / rental car: The airport is a short drive from central Takamatsu (roughly 15-25 km); rental cars are available at the terminal and parking is on-site.

The terminal is small but provides the essentials for regional travel: basic cafes and vending machines, tourist information and car rental desks. Free public seating is available airside and landside.
