Ta’ Dmejrek is the highest point on the main island of Malta, located on the Dingli Cliffs in the Dingli area. It is noted for its cliff-top position and coastal views.
The site is chiefly visited for dramatic sea vistas and coastal walking - cliffs fall steeply to the Mediterranean and the islet of Filfla is often visible offshore. Tracks and viewpoints along the cliff edge are the main attractions.
The high point forms part of the Dingli cliff escarpment and has been a landmark for local farmers and mariners. The cliffs and plateau have retained a largely rural character while being accessible from nearby villages.
Geographically the summit lies on Malta’s western coast, about 13 kilometres southwest of Valletta and close to the village of Dingli, overlooking the open sea to the southwest.

Ta’ Dmejrek is the highest point near Dingli and the Dingli Cliffs on Malta’s western coast. Dingli village is reached by road from Valletta in about 20-30 minutes by car (roughly 10-15 km depending on route).
Public buses from Valletta and Rabat serve Dingli village; from the village center the cliff‑top viewpoints and the highest point are a short walk (typically 10-20 minutes) along well‑marked paths.

- Plan to be at the Dingli Cliffs for late afternoon/sunset for the best light, but arrive earlier to secure good viewpoints and parking because the main viewpoints are small.
- Approach from Dingli village and follow the marked cliff-top paths rather than stopping at the roadside; the formal viewpoints give safer and more photogenic panoramas that many passing visitors overlook.
